my laptop has snapped ?
my laptop has like snapped. you know where the screen bends open and closed, well the 2 things they are linked onto where it bends has snapped. Only one of them. it has snapped off the hinge thing and the laptop screen wont stay up because one of them has snapped and it keeps falling flat down so i gotta hold it up. and when i close the screen flat down on the back it looks completely screwed. its all cracked. and the more i open and close it the more its breaking so is there any shop that will fix this? im from wales in the uk. Last time something went wrong with this shops like pc world said that i have to phone up dell and ask them so my mam rang them and a man came and took it away for 2weeks and then sent it back fixed. So would i have to phone them up again or could a computer shop around here do it? Thanks =]
you should probably call dell again. i doubt any local computer repair person would have the specific parts for that laptop. laptops- especially their casings are very manufacturer-specific. if you take it to a shop, teyll probably have to order the part from DELL anyway.
