Can you sell somehting that has a patent?

Ok, here is the deal. Snap caps are extremely popular at my school. But, I found out that you can make your own by getting a choker, washer,round magnet and a bottle cap that is decorated. I want to sell them, but the co. that makes these things has a all right reserved and stuff like that. Can I sell these for Money?I need the dough!!

you can make up your own. but you can't alter the one that has a patent and sell it as your own idea.
