What is a "plastic finder"?
I have just purchased a drill bit kit for a makita drill and in this kit, I have two things which are labelled "plastic finder"
can anybody tell me what these are and what to do with them?
A bit finder goes over a screwdriver bit to help you get the bit to go into the center of the screw. Look again, these are little plastic sleeves just the right size to slip over the screwdriver bit in the set? They're for 'finding' the head of the screw. Pretty useless actually, but a quick and very cheap to make a "20 piece set" out of 18 drill bits.
