do i really need an impact driver?
does an electrician need an impact driver? i am thinking of getting a drill, but the same drill i want also comes in a kit with a impact driver for $100 more. should i get the kit, or just get the drill? these are the new white makita ones.

i get to do my fair share of electrical, and to be honest i couldn't see not have an impact driver. It's compact size allows for more freedom between joists and studs. it's power is great when driving wood screws for boxes and even tapcons in cement. I purchased the Bosch 18v drill/impact combo from the home depot 2 years ago and i love it.
