Time snap! Freaky, explanation needed!?

This has happened once before.

I went to sleep at 11, as normal.. but almost as soon as I hit the pillow, I immediately woke up to find that it was 6 in the morning. I was kinda freaked out, but since it was 6 I couldn't care less and decided to sleep in about another 30 minutes. I set my alarm and lay my head down on the pillow again, and as soon as that happened my alarm rang loudly and it was 6:30. I wasn't very tired, I felt the same as I do every morning. I had no idea what happened.

Any explanation?

Obviously, because you have posted this question in the Mental Health section of Yahoo Answers, in your realization you believe that it is related to your own mental health in some manner. So, why do people want to stay in bed? Well, aside from the real possibility that your sleep clock just craves extra rest due to the decrease in daylight hours because of the autumn season, it could be one of the following factors:

1. You are avoiding a reoccurring situation that takes place in your awakened state, such as a dreaded job, going to school, or dealing with people you aren't very fond of.

2. You are depressed, and you find a sense of security under a blanket.

3. You are anxious, and the anticipation of having to wake up has created within you the opposite of the desired effect, which is experiencing the maximum amount of sleep time. In other words, it's like the food addict who swears off food through his "will," and then obsesses about food so much by not eating that he eats twice as much as when he began the diet.
